We are all aware of the importance of carpets to delimit spaces and even more so today when the trend is to create open spaces. Differentiate the living room from the dining room, give more importance to one area or give more depth to a bedroom are some of the possibilities offered by carpets but you should also be aware that a wrong choice of size can cause the opposite effect so it is advisable to follow a series of practical tips that we indicate below.

Living room

The living room is usually where we spend most of our time. And that's why we don't want to make a mistake in our choice.

Option 1: In this option the carpet will be placed in front of furniture and sofas, being slightly wider than the sofa.

Option 2: Same as above, with the carpet being the same width as the sofa.

Option 3: Another variable in carpet layout is where the carpet will be under the front legs of the sofa and furniture.

Option 4: This option is only recommended for living rooms large enough for the carpet to show off to its fullest.

Bedrooms

Option 1: Consists of 3 rugs, 2 at the foot of the bed and one at the front of the bed.

Option 2: A single carpet will occupy the base that forms the bed and bedside tables.

Option 3: A single custom carpet cut in a U-shape

Canteens

The most important thing to take into account when choosing a rug for the dining room are the chairs that are around the table as the size will have to be such that it allows diners to move it in such a way that the legs of the same do not exceed the carpet. For this to happen we must leave about 80 cm which means that the carpet should measure at least 1.55 m more than the length and width of the table.

Aisles

The corridors are a good place to show off your carpet for this you have to take into account that this is between 10 and 15 cm from the wall.
