According to all official bodies, household bleach is very effective in disinfecting surfaces and preventing the COVID 19 coronavirus, including carpets. Obviously this is possible as long as the carpets are suitable for disinfectants such as bleach, as happens to be the case with the carpets we present here.
For a correct use of bleach as a disinfectant for carpets and rugs and for this cleaning to be effective, we must take into account the following:
- Clean any dust that may accumulate on the carpet beforehand.
- Wipe or mop with a cloth or mop moistened with household bleach in a 1:50 ratio:
- Collect 20 ml of household bleach
- Pour it into a 1 liter bottle.
- Fill the bottle with tap water until full.
- Mixing .
